The Popular Show Season Four Unveils the Soldiers Table

Since the launch of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master Brennan Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with rich lore, a diverse cast of heroes, and a exciting storyline featuring celestial beings, fiends, and malevolent powers growing in power within the city.

Warning: Spoilers for the latest installment of this adventure are included.

The Combat-Oriented Party Unveiled

The latest chapter finished on a dramatic pause and presented the initial group of heroes who will separate from the central cast to undertake their independent quest, apart from the additional parties.

The Soldiers table includes the determined fighter (brought to life by Travis), Thimble (Laura Bailey), the strong-willed figure (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (the player), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie Daymond).

The Reason for Division

Considering an extensive roster, it was obvious from the beginning that maintaining everyone at one table would be unfeasible.

This explains, the initial installments of this story serve as an Introduction, weaving together the personal journeys before splitting into three separate parties: Soldiers, Schemers, and Questers.

Characteristics of the Warrior Group

Per the Dungeon Master, the Soldiers table is for players who are drawn to a traditionally charged battle-oriented narrative style where non-violent answers are few and far between.

Upon first impression, figures such as the squeamish cleric the cleric might seem mismatched, but the events of episode 3 make it clear why these five characters are perfectly fit for the Soldiers table.

Motivations for Departure

For one thing, the party has a clear idea where to head next after a violent first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

Casimir of the deceased character—whose demise kicked off the campaign’s events—used the foes for his own means, entering Thjazi’s hideout, attacking Thimble, and swiping all the powerful objects to auction.

The antagonist then paid off his obligations and fled to a fortified location in the remote area, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Cyd Pridesire hot on his heels.

Character Drivers

Additionally, each character has a personal reason to exit the urban setting:

  • The agile hero, as the close ally and closest confidant, wants revenge.
  • The knowledgeable figure is familiar with Timmony and advises that it is a hostile environment.
  • The warrior and Wicander, having resisted his relatives’ demands to execute the target and instead saved him, have no other options.
  • Yet, their reputation as important members in the influential clan could assist the group enter locations they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Moreover, Teor pledged a life debt to The savior for his deliverance and will now go with him anywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

Finally, all of them are hunted by the powers that govern Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making lingering locally too risky:

  • Thimble and The character are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The warrior and The cleric betrayed the powerful family and the horde of evil beings they are aligned with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by House Halovar.

This means them few options but to head to the remote area in quest for Casimir.

Upcoming Developments

Based on episode three’s follow-up content, we discover that the combat party will not appear in the upcoming installment, leaving the remaining eight participants to assemble the Questers and Planners groups.

Fans can anticipate discovering which characters will be assigned to which table in the season’s last Overture episode, released on next week.
